Dr. Schwarzkopf’s practice is limited to care of the hip and knee. He has particular interest in degenerative joint disease of the hip and knee. Other areas of focus include treatment of development dysplasia of the hip, avascular necrosis, post-traumatic arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Schwarzkopf specializes in hip and knee joint replacement, unicompartmental knee replacement, hip resurfacing, patient specific knee implants, complex revision hip and knee surgery, and hip fractures.

Dr. Schwarzkopf graduated Summa Cum Laude from both his bachelor in science and masters degree in biomedical engineering from Ben-Gurion University. Dr Schwarzkopf graduated Valedictorian of his medical class at Ben-Gurion University. He completed a general surgery internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. Subsequently, Dr Schwarzkopf completed fellowship training in adult reconstruction/total joint replacement surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston.
